About Score.art

Score.art started several years ago as a very DIY project. We've always been drawn to the quiet storytelling power of the baseball box score: how a small grid of numbers captures not just a final score, but the shape of a game as it unfolded, inning by inning.

We began making these by hand, just for ourselves, but then soon realized they had wider appeal outside our family. So we began making them for others.

As we took in more requests, something unexpected stood out: the games people wanted on their walls almost never had any major historical significance. They were personal. A first game with a parent. A birthday, an anniversary, a trip to a new ballpark.

Games that would otherwise be lost to time, but that stand as distinct and meaningful memories in someone's life, turned out to be the most rewarding ones to make.

As the requests grew, it became clear we needed a better way for people to create their own versions: quickly, easily, and exactly how they wanted them.

That's the Score.art you're on today. We're excited to see what you make, and we're always here if you have a question or need help tracking down a specific game.
